Abstract
The Comprehensive Plan is the official policy guide for decisions about growth, development and conservation of natural resources in Benton County. It is based on the physical, economic and social characteristics of the County; the desires and needs of County citizens; state laws; and programs and polices of other local, state, and federal governmental agencies. Overall, the Plan is intended to provide a framework for consistent and coordinated public and private land use decisions. [From the Plan]
