The design and construction of the University
Housing was funded by the University of Oregon.
The housing design was done under the direction
of Donald Comer, Center for Housing Innovation,
the University of Oregon. The energy design and
testing of the University Housing Project was
funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. The
SSIC demonstration house design and analysis
was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and
was executed with the cooperation of thirty-eight
participating manufacturers. The construction
was funded by St. Vincent dePaul of Lane County,
OR and the builder was Goldenridge
Construction. SIP Scheming was funded by the
U. S. Department of Energy. All the projects were
part of the Energy Efficient Industrialized
Housing Research Project, a joint effort of the
University of Oregon and the University of
Florida. |
