This collection contains research projects by students in WR399 "The New Research." These students pursue many different majors at the University and are at different levels in their educational development. In the course students conduct research using primary sources, often original documents and photographs. The goals of the course are to help students carry out effective research and make good arguments in an age of new media, digitization, and collaboration. The course included an oral presentation and a research project. The final project could take several forms including a research paper, research blog, oral presentation with PowerPoint slides, or an exhibit proposal.
