Abstract

FEIS proposes to meet demand for livestock forage in allotments and improve stream shade and bank stability by improving resource conditions and livestock distribution. Includes reauthorizing livestock grazing and issuing term grazing permits, with the length of grazing depending on meeting utilization standards or thresholds for pastures moves. Existing water developments would continue to be maintained, and new ones including constructing a pond or installing a spring box, pipes, troughs, and fences. Record of decision announces implementation of Alternative 2 for the Shotgun Allotment and Alternative 4 for the Double Cabin, East Maury, Klootchman, and Sherwood Allotments.
