"Women's liberation" is now receiving serious attention from many quarters, and both men's and women's views of themselves have been affected by this latest manifestation of feminism. In this paper we use data from a group of young adults to compare males and females in the extent to which they hold a feminist ideology and explore the relationship between adherence to a feminist ideology and the concrete life plans of both men and women.
