As required by Federal Emergency Management Agency, the city of Clatskanie updated its floodplain ordinance and adopted new digital floodplain maps in order to maintain compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program. The adopted ordinance is attached, and the floodplain maps were incorporated by reference as "The Flood Insurance Study for Columbia County, Oregon and Incorporated Areas, dated November 26, 2010. The floodplain study and new floodplain maps for the city of Clatskanie are available at DLCD through the Natural Hazard Coordinator.
