Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB)

University of Oregon has been teaching and conducting research in marine biology on the southern Oregon coast since 1924. OIMB served as a summer field station until the mid-1960's, when the marine station became a permanent, year-round teaching and research facility. OIMB is located in Charleston, Oregon, and is home to both masters and doctoral students and offers an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology through the UO Biology Department.
