dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of uncertain legal liability, and the related problem of declining profits, for automobile insurers pertaining to driverless cars. Resources published from 2012 to 2017 are presented to the chief executive officers of automobile insurers, the Highway Loss Data Institute division of IIHS, and the Casualty Actuarial and Statistical (C) Task Force of the NAIC for the purposes of planning for a future with driverless cars. | en_US |
