This study provides boards of directors of publicly traded companies with checklists for assessing the practice and structure of their boards in the area of IT governance. IT governance is an integral part of overall enterprise governance (ITGA, 2003) and as such, is the responsibility of boards and executive managers. Five IT governance domains are examined, including IT Strategic Alignment, IT Value Delivery, IT Resource Management, IT Risk Management, and IT Performance Management.en
