Systems thinking and its application have been studied in various environments, but it is not always clear how the elements of systems thinking can positively impact operational effectiveness and create a more cohesive organizational culture. Furthermore, it is imperative for organizations to understand the skill set and behaviors that leaders need to acquire and maintain to promote successful change management. This annotated bibliography features literature published between 2006 and 2015 to help individuals in management positions understand, implement, and cultivate the elements of a systems thinking approach to improve operational effectiveness, build a more cohesive organizational culture and promote successful change management.en_US
