| dc.description.abstract | Announces decision to authorize implementation of the Darth Raider Commercial Thinning and Density Management timber sale, following the project design features (PDFs) established in the Upper Umpqua Watershed Plan as adjusted in the Decision Record. This timber sale is located within the General Forest Management Area (GFMA) (32.5 acres), Riparian Reserve (21.5 acres), and the Late-Successional Reserve (LSR) (127 acres) land-use allocations. The stands that will be treated are second-growth forest that range in age from approximately 39 to 66 years old. Darth Raider will provide approximately 2.716 MMBF of merchantable timber available for auction. | en |
