Abstract
This comprehensive plan is being developed for the City of Maupin to serve as the guiding document for all land use decisions. It is designed to do several things: to insure the future livability, so that Maupin is at least as nice to live in in the future as it is today; to manage future growth and development so that it is orderly and is in harmony with the public desired of the area; and to conserve natural resources to provide for their wise utilization or preservation. It will also provide the basis for business, the public, and individuals [to] make sound investment decisions. [From the Plan]
