dc.description.abstractAmendments update Section 2-4-6 of the Newport Zoning Ordinance relating to development within the 100 year lloodplain to incorporate text changes recommended by FEMA and DLCD and to adopt the new Flood Insurance Study and maps released by FEMA. The ordinance is effective December 18, 2009 which coincides with the date set by FEMA for when the study and maps go into effect.en_US
