Abstract
The University of Oregon Micronesia and South Pacific Program has concluded its ninth
year of providing service to communities in the Pacific islands. This year the program
completed a total of 24 projects throughout Micronesia and, to a limited extent, in the south
Pacific. This year saw the closure of the affiliation program with the University of the
South Pacific in Fiji, as the funding provided by the U.S. Information Agency terminated
after five years.
