dc.description.abstract | It is the purpose of this study to make a descriptive survey of the teacher credit union in Oregon. For some time the writer has been interested in the cooperative movement as a whole, and especially in teacher credit unions, believing that through such organizations the morale and economic well-being of teachers can be improved. This study is made with the hope that the information gathered may be used by the Oregon League of Credit Unions to promote the cause of credit unions generally, to show the value of credit unions to teachers, and to particularize the progress made since the organization of the first credit union in the State or Oregon. | en_US |
