dc.description.abstract | This thesis lies within the extra-curricular activity field, and deals with the problem of its control. It is generally conceded that the government of this phase of school work can well be done, in part at least, by the students themselves. This necessitates a definite methodology both for the part played by the students and that by the teachers and administrators, just as we have methodologies for class-room instruction. As attempt has been made to determine present practices in Oregon high schools and to reach conclusions as to advisable methods in what is generally known as the student body governments. | en_US |
