Includes pre-commercial thinning, girdling to create small snags and coarse down wood, conversion of alder dominated stands to stands composed of a mixture of conifers and longer-lived hardwood species, placement of log structures and boulders, tree-lining to stabilize stream banks, replacement of stream-crossing culverts, and road improvements and closures.en
