Abstract
Two things at present need to be done to increase the effectiveness of sociological thought. First, in order that sociological concepts may be of the greatest service as socializing and directing factors, there is need of a careful collaboration in the selection of the best sociological thought. There is also need for a wide diffusion of such selected sociological thought, until the greater part of the lump of society is leavened with it.
