Organizational culture plays a critical role in the acceptance and adoption of agile principles by a traditional software development organization (Chan & Thong, 2008). Organizations must understand the differences that exist between traditional software development principles and agile principles. Based on an analysis of the literature published between 2003 and 2010, this study examines nine distinct organizational cultural factors that require change, including management style, communication, development team practices, knowledge management, and customer interactions.en_US
