Abstract

The City of Florence, Oregon has developed a Draft Transportation System Plan (TSP), as required by the State's Transportation Planning Rule (TPR) and as part of the City's update of its Comprehensive Plan. Adoption of a final TSP will occur as part of adoption of the City's Comprehensive Plan. This document summarizes the technical analyses that have been performed in the development of the TSP, including coordination with the affected affected agencies... The City of Florence recognizes the importance of the five existing transportation gateways to the conmunity: East Highway 126 Gateway; North Florence Highway 101 Gateway; Siuslaw River Bridge/South Highway 101 Gateway; Florence Arport Gateway; Siuslaw River/Port of Siuslaw Gateway.
