It represents a public statement of the most desirable land uses projected for the years to come." [From the Plan] "Harney County Comprehensive Plan 2002. This is the version of the Harney County Comprehensive Plan that was initially adopted in the mid-1980s. Since then there were various modifications of which this text represents. However, there are alterations being made to this document currently and should be completed in April of 2001. These alterations include a total reformatting of the text as well as updates to the text itself. Policies have been reviewed and found to be consistent with the future vision of the County.
