Research has shown that the use of a project management methodology (PMM) contributes to a project’s success (Joslin & Muller, 2014). As the field of project management continues to evolve, it is incumbent on project management practitioners to exercise best practices in tailoring and implementing project management methodologies (Project Management Institute, 2017). Utilizing peer reviewed studies between 2006 and 2019, this study aims to define these best practices for use by other project management professionals.en_US
