Abstract

The basic goal of the study is to provide an environmental protection plan for the Wallowa Lake Basin. This will be facilitated through three general tasks: 1. Development of a land use plan, 2. Development of a water and sewerage facilities plan, and 3. Review of existing zoning policies as they would be affected by the land use plan. The study area was defined as Wallowa Lake, the City of Joseph and their environs within an approximate two-mile range. In addition to this publication, a supplement is available which presents more detailed data concerning various aspects of this study. [From the Plan]
