dc.description.abstract | Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (Oregon’s only women’s prison) is currently working to improve the outdoor areas surrounding the transitional unit, which houses incarcerated women who are preparing for reentry. This project provides a conceptual site design for these outdoor areas informed by both evidence-based therapeutic landscape design principles, as well as findings from direct participant engagement and observational study of the site. | |
