Cornelius : Parks master plan (2009)

Abstract

As a strategic road map for the future, this Parks Master Plan envisions a city park system that will provide high-quality recreational opportunities for residents and visitors during the next decade and beyond. In addition to upgrading existing parks, the plan calls for acquiring additional parkland and developing a system of interconnected, shared-use paths and trails to serve a growing population. The plan offers a guide to honor the City’s past investments through specific park upgrades, while leveraging its resources to expand the park system[.] [From the Plan]
