dc.description.abstractIt is evident from a study of the history of these Indians, that the Warm Springs, together with other Oregon tribes, did not benefit greatly from the Government system of colonizing and reservations. It is true that they received the advantages of education and medical service furnished by the Government in accordance with treaty stipulations, and some protection from their enemies; but the value of these advantages may be questioned.en_US
