This
report
evaluates
the
effects
of
a
free
2-‐hour
parking
program
in
downtown
Eugene.
As
part
of
the
program,
meters
were
removed
from
a
12-‐block
area
of
downtown
in
October
2010
in
order
to
support
businesses,
encourage
retail
activity
and
attract
more
people
downtown.
This
report’s
aim
is
to
understand
if
the
parking
program
is
achieving
its
intended
goals,
what
the
perceptions
of
the
business
community
are
about
its
operation,
and
what
other
impacts
the
parking
program
is
having
on
downtown. |
