Abstract

The City of Sweet Home has committed to developing a well planned comprehensive transportation system that balances the needs of future land development with a system that serves all users. In the development of a comprehensive Transportation System Plan (TSP), the City must also address Oregon's Transportation Planning Rule (TPR), which requires public jurisdictions such as Sweet Home to develop: a road plan for a network of arterial and collector streets; bicycle and pedestrian plans; air, rail, water, and pipeline plans; a transportation finance plan; and policies and land use regulations for implementing the TSP.
