Abstract

The Northwest Hills Natural Areas Protection Plan provides the inventory, analysis, and recommendations for protection of significant natural resources located on the eastern slope of Portland’s Northwest Hills. The project study area covers 6,000 acres stretching west from N.W. St. Helens Road and the Willamette Greenway up to N.W. Skyline Boulevard, and north from the Willamette Heights area to the Portland city limits near N.W. Newberry Road.... This document is one of several natural resource plans developed by the City of Portland to comply with Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) Statewide Planning Goal 5 post-acknowledgment requirements.
