Zusammenfassung
This plan has two main goals. First, to provide silvicultural prescriptions that can reduce
the risk of property loss, due to wildland fire, in the Vineyard Mountain subdivision. Second, to
promote a better understanding of how to take preventative measures that may help prevent the
loss of structures during a wildland fire. This plan also discusses the potential for both crown
fires and surface fires in the Vineyard Mountain subdivision, and makes recommendations to
help reduce the risk of property loss in the case of such fires. [From the Plan]
