Abstract: The Infill and Redevelopment Strategies project consists of: analyzing the demand for housing and mixed residential/commercial uses and identifying those factors that may be expected to affect demand for such development within the City of Portland; analyzing the capacity of the City of Portland to accommodate such demand; identifying neighborhood characteristics that affect the feasibility of infill and redevelopment; and developing a program of strategies that can be undertaken by citizens, the City, other public agencies and the private sector to promote infill and redevelopment.
