The timeline for implementation of each individual project has been determined by the priority it was given by the Historic Commission as well as the ability of staff to complete the projects. Recommendations for code changes and alternative projects to address these needs were presented to the Historic Commission for their input. After careful consideration and discussion, the Historic Commission identified their priorities for projects to accomplish in the next ten years within each program area, and an implementation plan was prepared. This included a review of existing survey data which had been collected by the Winterbrook Team(2002-2003), field work including the recording basic architectural information for 111 properties in two survey areas, a preliminary eligibility assessment and a photograph of each property in the survey area, and the preparation of data for entry into the SHPO database.... West Linn’s current Comprehensive Plan, local Ordinance and IGA with Clackamas County Historic Review Board (CCHRB) is consistent with the purposes of the National Historic Preservation Act, as well as applicable state legislation and other local ordinances affecting historic properties in Oregon.
