The Plan is intended to reflect the community's current thoughts on land use planning and to be responsive to the needs and desires of its citizens. In some cases the sections pertaining to subdivision of land may be included in the zoning ordinance.Item Open Access Tangent : Transportation system plan(City of Tangent (Or.), 2002) Tangent (Or.); Kimley-Horn and AssociatesThis Transportation System Plan (TSP) is intended to meet the need for long range planning and replace the transportation element of the Comprehensive Plan. Other factors have also influenced the need for a TSP. In 1991, the Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) adopted the Transportation Planning Rule (TPR). The rule is intended to implement statewide Planning Goal 12 to provide for a carefully planned transportation system designed to reduce reliance on the automobile and increase walking, bicycling, and the use of transit. Recommendations contained in this TSP are in harmony with the applicable requirements of the TPR.
