    The purpose of this document is to guide the activities of the Baker City/County Economic Development Council for the years of 2005 to 2007. The Plan should ensure that these activities are articulated to the residents of Baker City and County. This Strategic Plan should also serve Baker City, Baker County and the incorporated communities of Baker County. In addition to coordination with the public sector, the Plan should provide the private sector with a prioritized list of existing and scheduled activities, marketing plan, list of targeted industries, and planned strategic investments that will strengthen the local economy.
