The design team [for this Plan] worked with designated representatives of ODDA and Aurora. Work was based, in part, upon comments from prior studies including; Vision Aurora (1995), City of Aurora Transportation Plan (1999), City of Aurora Historic Guidelines, City of Aurora Sewer Project, Marion County/Aurora First Street Realignment Project.... This transportation system plan (TSP) addresses the anticipated transportation needs for the year 2018. The TSP is being prepared to address federal and state regulations that require urban areas to do longrange planning. The long range planning is intended to serve as a guide for the City of Aurora to [manage] their existing transportation facilities and to plan for the development of future transportation facilities.
