Other changes included: eliminating the duties of the City Recorder; establishing a Floodplain Manager; providing specific construction requirements for "Fill and Excavation"; requiring first flood elevation to be 2 feet above the base flood elevation; and establishing the use of other base flood data.

    This was a coomprehensive amendment package for the Scio Zoning Ordinance. Most changes were of a housekeeping nature. Other changes included: elimination of a long list of uses permitted in the commercial and industrial zones in exchange for a shor list of use groups: eliminated the Planned Unit Development Zone; eliminated the "zero" lot line provisions: requires flow through foundations for new construction: established hight limits for accessory buildings; established new "home occupation" standards; established comprehensive sign standards; revised standards for non-conforming uses and structures; and established standards for wireless telecommunication facilities.
