Excavated in 1967, the Nightfire Island site yielded large amounts of artifactual, floral, and faunal data. This report presents the analysis of the bird and mammal segments of this large collection. While a fragmentary part of the archaeological record provided by Nightfire Island, these remains suggest a number of hypotheses, some of wide import, which may be tested by other categories of data from the site.en_US
