| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the Guild’s Lake Industrial Sanctuary Plan is to maintain and protect this area as a unique place for a broad variety of industrial land uses and businesses. The plan recognizes the unique role of industrial land in Portland’s economy and the importance of industrial businesses in providing living-wage jobs. The plan's vision statement, policies and objectives have been adopted as part of Portland's Comprehensive Plan and are implemented through amendments to Portland’s Title 33: Planning and Zoning. The plan's action charts identify specific projects, programs, and regulations that will help implement the plan's vision, policies and objectives over the next twenty years. [From the Plan] | en |
