This Plan describes the strategies that the City will implement to reduce temperature, bacteria, and mercury pollution in the Upper Willamette subbasin of the Willamette River. Implementation Plans from designated management agencies (DMAs), such as the City of Veneta, are required to comply with the Willamette Basin TMDL order and to help meet pollutant load allocations for the Upper Willamette subbasin as approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in September 2006.
