Abstract

The Lake Oswego Transportation Management Plan for Downtown Neighborhoods was initiated as a citizen driven project to identify and analyze existing and potential future transportation impacts to the neighborhoods which surround downtown Lake Oswego. The study area focuses on the First Addition, Evergreen, Lakewood, Old Town and Foothills neighborhoods. Citizens in these neighborhoods have expressed concern that development in downtown Lake Oswego may impact the livability of their residential streets. This plan examines the traffic, walking, and parking conditions in the study area with the goal of managing both existing and future conditions. [From the Plan]
