Face|Image is a series of four fixed-media electroacoustic music pieces, centered thematically on the relationship between humans and technology. I composed and arranged these pieces in the digital sound design program Kyma. This thesis also includes a brief history of electroacoustic music and details my musical influences and compositional methods for Face|Image. I also explain the thematic inspirations for my music, and analyze the ways I musically conveyed thematic concepts within the series.en_US
