dc.description.abstractAs the use of learning analytics garners significant interest from higher education institutions, complex challenges have surfaced in the implementation of this tool. A successful implementation requires strategic and thoughtful planning and execution. This study examines the challenges and best practices for a successful learning analytics implementation. Institutions that are interested in initiating a learning analytics project and are in the process of implementation will benefit from the findings of this study.en_US
