| dc.description.abstract | The following document is an account of the research, development, and design of the user interface for a mobile application intended to educate users about Robert's Rules of Order, and facilitate its use within the context of a group meeting. The author introduces his interest in the field as it sterns from personal experience before recounting the initial research conducted to better understand the context of the problem, the users, and the difficulties with Robert's Rules of Order as it currently occurs. After initial research was conducted the design process began, wherein user personas were developed and ideation occurred. This was followed by design development and an initial usability study, the feedback from which was used to create a new design. Subsequently, two more rounds of usability study and design development occurred; the product of the final round of usability testing is the final product of this project. After describing the final design of this product, the author reviews the research and design processes, recounting those procedures which were successful, and describing some of the project's difficulties and how to avoid them in future projects. | en_US |
