Abstract

[The Plan's] values are: to maintain the small-town character of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood, by retaining its historic commercial buildings and houses; to increase the vitality of commercial areas, encourage the provision of neighborhood services, and preserve the neighborhood's pedestrian scale and character; to preserve the natural and greenspaces around and within the neighborhood, and to encourage residents to enjoy and enhance these abundant resources; to ensure that the neighborhood is a safe place for all ages, with attractive public streets and parks that encourage community interaction.
