This thesis discusses the experiences of introverted communications professionals in fields such as journalism and public relations through a long-form journalistic article. The article builds on the literature regarding introverts in American society and the workplace as well as on personal essays written by introverts in communications fields. This article explores the stories of a variety of individuals in order to cover as fully as possible the breadth of introverted personalities and experiences and to shed light on this overlooked topic.en_US
