Abstract

The purpose of the Natural Resources Management Plan for Peninsula Drainage District No. 1 (NRMP) is to manage the wetlands, wildlife habitat, and other natural resources located on both public and private land within the Peninsula Drainage District No. 1 (Pen 1) in a focused and coordinated manner; to evaluate the Pen 1 ecosystem as a whole and provide specific direction for protection and enhancement of the natural resources throughout the Pen 1 area; to provide a level of certainty in the environmental review process by identifying primary areas for mitigation for approval development projects that are consistent with the protection of resources within Pen 1.
