Item Open Access Sutherlin : Development code(City of Sutherlin (Or.), 1992) Sutherlin (Or.)Development codes are ordinances implementing a local government’s comprehensive plan. They include two components: a zoning ordinance and a subdivision ordinance, which may be adopted and published as separate documents under their own titles. In some cases the sections pertaining to subdivision of land may be included in the zoning ordinance.Item Open Access Sutherlin : Festival Grounds preliminary wetland delineation report(City of Sutherlin (Or.), 2008-03-10) Satre Associates; Sutherlin (Or.)The study area contains nine [discernible] features with varying degrees of connectivity to each other. These features are mapped and described as WL1 through WL9.... Findings are nearly consistent with the Sutherlin Local Wetlands Inventory data. Exceptions include some upland areas around the rodeo arena, the filled eastern edge of the study area near the ash woodland, and some subtle lowland concavities within old fill on soccer field. These areas were confirmed by presence or absence of hydrophytic vegetation and, more importantly, by hydric soil characteristics and direct observations of hydrology. Objectives for the Parks and Open Space Plan include: evaluate the existing condition of parks and open spaces in Sutherlin and identify opportunities relative to developing a parks system to meet the current and future needs of the community; poll the community regarding preferences for a parks and open space system in Sutherlin; develop a parks and open space system including recommended standards for type, size, location, physical elements and design considerations; identify park and open space needs based on current and future population projections, including potential locations for future park and open space facilities; identify park and open space projects, implementation strategies and an action plan for activating the Parks and Open Space Plan. Dept. of Transportation; Kittelson & AssociatesThe Southside Parkway Corridor Plan was developed in anticipation of the longterm circulation needs within the City of Sutherlin. At the heart of the plan is the preferred parkway alignment. This preferred conceptual alignment was developed based on an evaluation process that considered land use impacts, environmental impacts, social impacts, cost, and constructability of a number of different alignments. Through consultation with the technical and Transportation Advisory Committees, it was determined that the preferred conceptual alignment best integrates the strongest and most desirable circulation qualities while minimizing impacts (to the extent possible) to the social and environmental constraints that exist within the overall study corridor. While still preliminary in nature, the preferred conceptual alignment has been developed to reflect sound transportation engineering principles and known constraints that exist within the overall study corridor. It also identifies planned transportation facilities and services needed to support planned land uses identified in the Sutherlin Comprehensive Plan in a manner consistent with the Transportation Planning Rule (OAR 660-012) and the Oregon Transportation Plan.
